Meet Mia McKenzie

I’m Mia McKenzie, a passionate  Woman of God dedicated to sharing the love of God through my ministry. As a proud wife to my amazing husband, Byron McKenzie, and a mother to our six beautiful children, family is at the heart of everything I do.

 

I am currently serving as an Associate Minister under the Leadership of Reverend Dr. Roger Lee Hambrick and Minister Vanessa Hambrick at Green Pasture Baptist Church. I answered the call on my life in 2011 after a long journey of self-discovery and realizing God had more for me. I was licensed as a minister in 2014 under the Leadership of Pastor Gary Carswell and my journey continues.

Growing up in Green Pastures from infancy, I began singing in the choir at just three years old, nurturing my love for worship from a young age. I was born in the Bronx NY and raised  in Yonkers NY and currently reside in NJ. In the year of 2000 I was the winner of Hal Jackson Talented teens pageant. My talent was singing. I sang Home by Stephanie Mills. Later on in that year I became 1st runner up to miss New Jersey were I competed against 17 contestants and won most talented.

 

As one of seven siblings, I cherish the bonds of family and community. I firmly believe that nothing in this life is too hard for God, and my experiences stand as a testament to His faithfulness. While I acknowledge my imperfections, my constant desire is to please God and strive to be the best version of myself. 

 

As a devoted servant of God, my passion lies in using ministry to positively influence the lives of young women and guide them closer to God. I am committed to sharing the transformative messages of faith, hope, and love, empowering women to fully embrace their spirituality and discover strength in their relationship with God.
